Trumpet player

The trumpet was originally made of wood, bamboo or cane and was used for magical purposes before musical ones. Trumpets were used to distort the human voice and fight off evil spirits. Over time, trumpets evolved to be made from metal and valves were added to provide the ability to play melodies. The instrument we know today is well-loved. Louis Armstrong said “my whole life, my whole soul, my whole spirit is to blow that horn.”
