Unicycle

Balancing on one wheel is a talent. The first patent for a single wheeled ‘velocipede’ was in 1869. Since then there have been variations such as the seatless version, the tall (giraffe) style and the mountain unicycle.
Traditionally used for performance at a circus or carnival, today’s unicycles have a wider appeal and can be used for competition, recreation and even transportation.
